Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ are a fascinating duo. But you wanna want that 10 Plus.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10/10+ : A Great Duo!
IF you don't wanna watch the whole Samsung Event than this review is for you...
Galaxy Note has always been Samsung's do everything maximum overkill phones for power user u know but now there is 2 phones i have kind of found there is this interesting relationship between the two were the note 10+ is still the do everything phone but with one exception but than the note 10 is the sort of awesome phone for the most people type of phone i will tell you what i meant...
So the new design first of all i really like it they are leaning into this boxsier look the display goes right up to the edges and there is almost no top or bottom bezel at all and the screen as this curved on both of the sides that really make it feel like almost entriely screen its super immersive especially the corners its get crazy close to the corners and doesnt around them too much so i love the this phone looks and feels in the hand as it sounds but even though i kind of like the flat screens more this is the nice phone design.
It's a 6.3 inch 1080p amoled display on the note 10 and the 6.8 inch 1440p amoled on the note 10+ and so now there is couple of things to note that actually it happend with the note here the selfie camera is now in the infinity display cut-out meaning is the hole punch in the middle of the top of the phone mixs feeling on that but i dont hate it it's smaller area than it was in the corner of the S10 and there is usually no information in the middle of the top anyway so yes it's fine and it's also kind of funny they didn't even really try to hide the cut-out at all so see a lot of phones with the hole punches like hide the cut-out with nice gradient wallpaper so don't really notice it but now with the note this is the default samsung wallpaper bright as hell just embrassing it i guess.
There is also a new set of colors one of which is this crazy psychedelic rainbow shine that they call it aura glow it's kind of wild that how many different colors you see in it but also it's a fingerprint magnet and will probaly worth skinning or casing but this color is crazy cool.
And the fingerprint reader to note as moved quitely underneath the display glass to match the Galaxy S10 but it's not all amazing...
There are some things that they have changed that aren't so great there is no headphone jack on the samsung galaxy note the samsung flagship really with no jack they say it's an issue with space for bigger battery i say like if you can fit in entire pen in the side of the phone you could have fit a headphone jack this is no longer a space issue in the phone guys this is a consious choice that they are making if you haven't already notice it's the beginning of the end the headphone jack it's leaving and not coming back samsung will include headphones but usb type-c earbuds in the box and no dongle included so if you still really want to use that jack than you are on your own.
And they also changed the button layout so the power button on the note 10 is now also the bixby button so on the left hand side it's just the button and the volume rockers so the whole other right side of the phone is just clean blank no buttons at all and so that power button if you just tap it does the normal wake and sleep stuff but if you hold it for any longer it now opens up bixby no matter how long you hold it this button does not turn off the phone it will just open bixby.
You will now have to go to the notification drop down right next to the settings option there is this new option that will let you decide to turn off or restart the phone...now we have to see if this power button is remapeble in the settings or if you could disable the bixby.
Other than that honestly the Galaxy Note 10 & Note 10+ are build awesome they are premium they are metal and glass it is what you did expect.
Also there is the camera upgrade you probably notice already by now the triple cameras on the back there is a 12 mp main camera, 2x telephoto camera and an ultrawide as well which is totally sick!! And samsung as been claiming that this new camera are as great as pro photo and video tool...
Also you can now record video with the ultrawide camera so you can get that crazy go pro look with this water resistant phone but they also added features like live focus with video recording and improved super static shot for video so the stablization is awesome and also there is a crazy zoom in mic feature which basically is the more you zoom invideo the more the micro-phone focuses on the area in the frame like a sort of spy kids gadget from 2001...
And ofcourse there is not a Galaxy Note without the S-pen and they have refreshed the s-pen again this year with couple extra new features like screen-off memo as been one of the favourite note features for a while now but there is something they added in this note's that they convert your hand writing to text in the background and that indexes text so now if you take a note with a stylus and than wanna find it later you can now search it in the note's app and type the word you wrote and it will show up this is the very useful features.
There is also now some air actions for controlling the camera like holding shutter button and swiping between the modes or fliping from selfie camera to the back camera or allegdely even quorling clockwise or anti-clockwise to zoom...
But around that ONEUI on Samsungs phone definitely get help on the bigger screens because of all the improvements the one-handedness and there is couple of extra new features like a native screen-recorder too on the Galaxy note overall it looks similar to Galaxy S10.
Also the Specs how can we forgot it afterall it is a flagship phone -

Difference Between Note 10 & Note 10+
You are looking at pretty much all top of the like specs and a 25w fast charger that comes in the box which is great and the really solid battery on that note 10+.. But the note 10 & note 10+ are looking like pretty great phones but there is something i want you to notice but read this review carefully you probably notice there is a bunch of little things that are different between the Note 10 & Note 10+ that may push you towards the Note 10+ and by you i mean the power users
Due to larger screen, larger battery that's obvious with bigger phones but there is also that the Note 10 is 1080p and Note 10+ is 1440p there are three standard color but there is this extra 4th color (Fancy Blue Color) just for the note 10+, there is gonna be a 5G version of the note 10+ launching later this year, also you have maxed 8GB RAM for Note 10 whereas 12GB RAM for note 10+, there is 256GB space on note 10 whereas 512GB Space on Note 10+ and the micro-sd expansion slot is only available on note 10+ also only the note 10+ supports the crazy 45w super fast charger which is sold separately that would be some crazy fast charging to able to use that on note 10+...
Even with the triple camera style both look similar but you look closely the note 10 as just the 3 cameras and a flash while the note 10+ as the bunch of additional depth sensor for good measure but does this all somehow mean the note 10 is bad or lacking NO!! it still a great phone for most of the people need right now but there is extra little things on top of all of that note 10 as especially the battery that BIG battery that make note 10+ the flagship that they want power user to go all-out
There is one thing I wish they did that they didn't with the note if they really wanted the note to be the do everything phone for 2019 is the high refresh rate display you know like 90hz or even 120hz display that's not happening it's just 60hz oled and it is still ofcourse one of the best screens in any phone but it's gonna be hard to say it's the do everything phone when you start getting phones like even if it's new the New Oneplus Pro or Asus's ROG Phones doing crazy numbers.
