iPhone 11 vs the Best of the Android's

HOW THE IPHONE 11 COMPARES TO THE BEST OF THE ANDROID'S

Apple’s new iPhone's are here, with the new iPhone 11 the successor to the last year’s XR model, and the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max models to replace the last year's XS and XS Max as the flagship options. But how do they compare to the best of the android's on the market, like the Galaxy Note 10, Google Pixel 3 and OnePlus 7 Pro?

As expected, the new iPhones are quite a good upgrade versions from the last year’s models, with a particular focus on the camera setups: the cheaper model iPhone 11 now has a dual-camera, an ultra-wide camera whereas last year's iPhone XR single lens camera setup. But iPhone 11 Pro models now feature three camera's setup: a telephoto, a wide angle and ultra-wide. Both models are also getting Night mode for improved low-light photography.

Other updates have a less wow factor: there’s an upgraded A13 chip which Apple claims that both the CPU & GPU are fastest than any other smartphone on the planet. There’s also improvements to Face ID which now supports more different angles to work with.

Obviously, there’s more to the picture than what just we see as specs, especially when iPhones are concerned. Apple’s end-to-end control over the software and hardware means that iPhones tend to be able to do more with less, so things like low numbers for RAM or battery size may not tell the whole story for what these devices are actually like to use on a day-to-day basis.

But the numbers still do make a bit of a difference when you’re deciding what deserves a spot in your bag or pocket.
